Paraphrased from Kyrptonsite/CW:

Tess kidnaps Lois to find out where Lois went after she disappeared for weeks. Lois's memory of the future depicts a Metropolis under Zod's rule and Clark powerless under the red sun, while Chloe forms a resistance group with Oliver. After learning of these future events, Clark makes an important decision about Zod.

This is the last episode before the Winter Hiatus, the next new episode won't air until February.

Bride (8x10) aired Nov 20th as well. And the only reason seasons previous to that ran later is because the runs were broken up with repeats. There was actually a whole month between the last and 2nd last episode before the New Year in Season 7.

This might be because of the shoot for Absolute Justice...but yeah there was an extra long hiatus last season as well. Bride aired then Legion. Anyways I'm looking forward to actually watching this episode when I get around to it. Moved two weeks ago and do not have cable still in the house or a router for the internet, waiting for my landlord to hurry up and get both. I saw the extended trailer for this episode...it was very cool. Had Lois confronted in future dystopia Metropolis by Nam-Ek? Is that his name has it confirmed the dude is Nam-Ek or someone else? Anyways there's a nice homage to Superman#75 as well.

I hate when there is a long period between episodes...I am glad LOST stopped doing that. I am guessing this will be a great episode...I could be wrong. I thought Clark already made up his mind about Zod?

Yeah, according to Kryptonsite, this is the last new ep until January. They're now saying that the two-hour movie will air on February 5 and not on January 29, as TV Guide is reporting.

Go figure.

I'm guessing for February Sweeps.

"Can't you get more than just fragments?!"
"I'm sorry, Tess, but we are reading someone's mind and translating their thoughts and memories into video information here so, yeah, sorry if it's not as detailed as you like."

I think that Miss Teschmacher has picked up Lex's habit of expecting a bit too much from her minions.

So let me see if I follow this.

Zod wants to recreate Krypton (specificly Kandor) on Earth, right? And to do that he wants the powers he's supposed to have under our Yellow Sun so that he and his followers can easily take over the humans. So it seems he's done that... turned The Sun red -thereby removing his powers- and the planet is a wasteland? !

And, depending on how Superman physics, or even real-world ones work, wouldn't such a thing happening to our sun be very BAD for life on Earth? The Kryptonians are meant to live under a red sun, not us.

Seeing the Luthorcorp building and then seeing that whiny jackass Oliver Quenn there instead of Lex just annoys me every time I see it.
