I voted average. BAG was terrific and managed to work with what little he was given but I thought they could have used another couple of episodes to flesh out his character.

No surprise that the Clark/Metallo fight was a letdown. I've completely lost faith in the producers to do a good fight since that crapfest that was Clark vs Doomsday.

Man, Clark is really slamming the Chlovage her with his comments.

He's been doing that for years. He doesn't care what he says to here or how that hurts her.

I don't buy Clark's "link" with Lois and I've had it with Lois's sense of self-entitlement. She hasn't earned anything but acts like she deserves every good thing that comes her way.

Also, Clark...wear a freakin mask! This moron literally expects to perform his heroic acts without his face being seen. It's not very convient when you have to talk to someone and stay in the shadows the entire time.

One plus...Tess looked fantastic again. The bit at the end was pretty good and I'm glad to see Gaeta hanging around. Probably envious that he didn't get a cybernetic leg to replace the one he lost.

BTW...how could no one acknowledge the return of Shelby?!

Eh? That was the fight that convinced you?

There's only been one kinda-sorta decent fight in the entire series, and that was when Clark went toe-to-toe with... what's his name. The wrestler guy who was playing a phantom Fight Club kinda dude.

Every other single confrontation in the series has been embarrassingly bad. Embarrasingly. And it seems the more epic it should be, the worse it is. Clark vs. Bizarro, for example, was basically a one-punch battle. At least as best as I can recall. There may have been a teeny bit more, but none of it was noteworthy enough to stay in my memory.

They screw up the mythology, they screw up the characters, they can't provide a single entertaining action scene, and they can't even do teen-romance even remotely close to believable.

I honestly have no idea why I keep watching this show. Brand name recognition at its finest I guess.

yeah, its baffling as to why there is still excitement over recurring villains on the show. The formula is the same every time. Have a mysterious new person who Clark's at first unaware is a threat. Who does not do much through the season but plot and scheme or kill average humans. Doing what any psycho with a knife can do. Even though their cred in the comics is from being a physical threat to Superman himself. So there is a build up the whole season for a big showdown. But which is completely lackluster.

Lex Luthor worked as a regular because he was an interesting character. Without any expectation of a physical confrontation to justify his presence.

Yet I often see on other forums a wish for Darkseid to appear...
Who would most likely look human, at least most of the time. Plot and scheme, probably name drop the name Apokolips as much as possible. (Which would lead to fan masturbation...Wait I just typed it.... does that have the same result? eww!:wtf: ) All to end with a 2 minute "fight" with Clark in the season finale... Hey, if that gets you excited.... Whom am I to argue???? ;)

I suppose your right. When the new villain is introduced, he's already off the show in the matter of an episode or two. The fights are either ridiculously short or ridiculously one-sided. Clark/Zod wasn't bad but the entire fight consisted of Clark getting his ass kicked and not doing a damn thing. I'll give Clark credit for one thing though...he's an excellent punching bag.

Clark vs Titan (played by Kane of the WWE) from the fight club episode was far and away the best fight the show ever had.

Did Tess and Lois fuck? Did I miss an episode?
I had the same thought.

Chloe is smarter than everyone on this show
Yeah, she even managed to get herself a few dozen computers to fill up her new pad. How does she earn money anyway?

And speaking of money, how did Corben buy a building? What does he make?

I'm in love with Chloe, just wanted to say that
The one from SGU? I like her too. :p

What would happen if Tori Spelling's water lady and Metallo were to meet?
I forgot about her. We've got ourselves the potential for a 90210 connection here.

Sure Doctor House went to a strip club after he was in a bus crash, and Tess went straight back to work, but really this is what you do after surviving a bus crash?
I was wondering what happened to her bruises and black eye.

BTW...how could no one acknowledge the return of Shelby?!
I completely forgot about the dog, both before the episode and 10 minutes in.

So... Jor-El is on the way. I hope it's Tom Welling in the part.

Oh yeah, I've always thought that BAG would have made a good Captain Kirk, so I thought it was funny when he was standing there shirtless yelling... "WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT..."

The number of times Lois has been conked on the head is starting to become worrysome. We're approaching Giles-level head trauma here.

If it was between a choice of referencing 90210 or terminator, they chose wrong, well, at least they didn't slip a Freddie reference in.. or did they???!!!

I know, but because they cut the Linda Lake aside, I assume it was probably an either/or with the two name droppings. So they did chose, and they chose wrong because moooning about Donna would have been far cooler.

How many of the CW's target demo would know though that BAG was on the original 90210?

Vanity has to be vain for it's own sake now and then.

The other week on Castle, the titular character who used to captain a particular Firefly Class Freighter was decrying the death of originality in Hollywood when his daughter is asking for money to go see the Fame remake: "Well they just optioned Asteroids the Video game, so my guess is yes, but Ryan Reynolds is playing the wee green triangle and he's good."

It took me a couple minutes.

Two guys a girl and a pizza shop.

Also, unrelated, but Ryan's love interest from that show, the yadda yadda girl from Sienfeld was on Fringe last week.

It's a small world.

Everyone has been commenting on the sudden chemistry between Lois and Tess in that one scene. I wanted to fuck Tess...not surprised that Lois seemed to want to fuck her too. Cassidy is my new Chloe...I know that is blasphemous but I'm sticking by it.

Excommunication is in your near future sono if you don't buck up your ideas, repent'n'reaffirm that Chloe is the one true hotty on Smallville.

That being said, each of these sultry femfatals could probably smell Oliver's sent on the other, so no wonder they were rabid like bitches in heat.

Oh my.

Lex had porno of Tess giving Oliver head from her line of sights perspective, didn't he? Not that that's the best angel to much of anything. But I wonder who Lex's porn buddy was? Who hid Lex Luthor's porn upon his demise? Not Clark by the end, but maybe Clark in season 2 or 3?

(I'm rather slow.)
