Well I found the episode quite enjoyable, but I almost missed it awaking from a long nap Being Unemployed sucks.
My analysis is Metallo is not done for the count, like the Terninator he'll be back, and the discovery of several Kryptonian symbols all over the world including the EL family crest with a body shape in the center of it. according to some sources Jor-EL makes appearance in November probably for sweeps week.I do think it could be a clone like Zod.
Looking forward to next week episode i hope that I won't miss it.

Signed

Buck Rogers

Chloe wants to kill him.

Dark Chloe was awesome, and again one day her darkness will be awesome all over again.

It's like his jizz gets turned into a milkshake for every woman on the planet except "her".

Hell hath no fury.

I missed the season opener. How did Clark finally get the "S" on his chest? Did Daddy make him wear it?

--Ted

Did his Kryptonian heritage grow back since he shaved it off his personality and killed it back in season three?

I really have to wonder what this toaster is doing inside Clark's brain to force him to forgive "it" for being such a bastard again and again.

It's like tribesmen found in the 1940's who were worshipping aeroplane wreckage because they thought it was from god.

Clark needs to read the manual to the fortress.

Who says he needs to distance himself from humanity anyway. Clark is still so very immature. He needs to be Clark Kent, interacting with the real world, humanity, and then Superman, the hero. He can live both lives, he still has to learn that.

I'd have to watch again to be sure but if i am remembering correctly Metallo has every reason to hate Clark as if Clark is gonna save a busload of prisoners then he damn well better make sure none fo them escaped.

Sure Doctor House went to a strip club after he was in a bus crash, and Tess went straight back to work, but really this is what you do after surviving a bus crash?

I saw it last night and voted average. It was an okay episode. Not sure I like how Corben became Metallo. The truck thing...I wonder if one of Zod's Kryptonians are responsible for creating Metallo somehow? As Tess theorized a test. The motivation for not trusting the Blur is lame and cliched. I think that we'll see Metallo again down the road, he'll play some part in the Kryptonians plot is my bet. I can't wait to see young Jor-El now. I liked the scene of Clark back at the Planet. I guess this means the Red/Blue Blur is back now? Unless Clark continues to use the black suit as his costume and not just his Krypton-Man outfit. I'm enjoying Dr. Hamilton...Gaeta! The Watchtower set is growing on me too.

No.

No.

Chloe and Hamilton are not going to get it on.

Alison is a player in this smallworld, and her character will get as much attention as Welling should be asking for if he actually knew who "Superboy" was, that she does need a love interest or she'll be moping over Clark, and death first before she walks down that road again.

I wonder if Chloe was the last woman on the planet if Clark would pay her some attention?

Someone want to post some pictures of Midnighter?

I liked it.

I especially thought the way Clark "defeated" Metallo was great. It was one of those, "Oh, man. That sucks!" scenes when Metallo pulled out his own "heart".

Also, it was nice to get some implication about why there were so many Kryptonians, but, at the end of "Doomsday", there seemed to be only one.

Yep...this has been happening now for the last two seasons. Remember the Legion had no records of there being a Chloe Sullivan in the future. Any guesses who the pasty white dude was in the crest of El at the end of the episode? My friend for some reason thinks it's Lex. I disagree.

A clone of Jor-El is joining the series.
