TDC COMICS CHARACTER PLASTIQUE BLASTS INTO METROPOLIS; DAVIS BLOOME ARRIVES IN SMALLVILLE — It's Clark's (Tom Welling) first day at the Daily Planet with Louis (Erica Durance), and the pair are immediately thrown together on a story when a bus explodes outside the office. Clark rescues Bette (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy), a young girl who bonds with Chloe (Allison Mack) over their shared meteor abilities, but Bette is hiding a big secret. Paramedic Davis Bloom (Sam Witwer) arrives in Metropolis and is drawn to Chloe.

I'll be around but later in the evening. I have a lot of work tomorrow (who would have thought statistics would be so complicated?)

Louis huh?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this one, mainly because this will be the first real "Lois & Clark at the Daily Planet" episode, something I didn't think we'd ever get to on Smallville.

Some people have pointed out over the years that Welling and Durance have little or no chemistry, and I'll admit that it did look that way in the beginning, but it does look like things between them are starting to click. I noticed that last week, and I hope it continues.

Meteor rocks make Lois into a man?

LOIS EINHART IS FINKLE! FINKLE IS EINHART! EINHART IS FINKLE!

I think there should be a "Davis Bloom: yay or nay?" poll added seeing as how he's the difference breaking in the season succeeding or not.

It's a shame we can't do multiple poll questions. I wanted to suggest one asking if people would have preferred it if Tess was called Miss Tessmacher.

Not sure I can continue watching this show if there's no Lex concussions or weekly Smallville hospital room visits.

What about the random meteor freak of the week who poses a great threat to Clark's loved ones and will be quickly disposed of before the end of the episode?

Its early in the season...give them time and we'll have our normal hospital visit ratio back up to par this season. Maybe from the looks of the trailer for tonight's episode tonight since there seems to be some kind of diasaster occuring, perhaps from our Mr. Blooms arrival. Was it just me or did they steal right from the Terminator the naked arrival thing when they showed him curled up in the alley!

This season, I hope they still have top secret facilities with no security cameras that are broken into by unmasked super-powered heroes who don't want to be identified.

How's Smallville when it comes to fully functional yet abandoned factories that produce nothing but steam?
