I'm a sucker for alternate universe stories.

As a rule, I am too - my favorite show deals almost entirely with a parallel universe - but for some strange reason, I have misgivings about this ep.

OTOH, I hope my wife is right, and this turns out to be the best so far of the season.

Tess is one of my favorite characters of the whole series in it's 10 seasons...I could care less about Clark, Lois or Oliver at this point...and Chloe who? @ Pro.

It just occurs to me that his has a twinge of "Mirror, Mirror" with Clark taking on Captain Kirk's role!!

Yes.

Yeah. You know, it's funny. I've read some fan stuff of how they're like "Ewww! Brother and Sister!" But, you know, I never thought that my relationship with Lex was sexual. I always thought that was more of a mentor-mentee. That's why, in Season 8, I got so upset with Oliver when he insinuated that my relationship with Lex was a romantic one, because I was like "screw you. It doesn't always have to be about sex!"

that's a shame, this show needs something interesting like that to happen
