"The Blur's" appearances were just a blur. A red and blue blur and who was wearing a red and blue costume this episode?

Any instance where someone may have seen more than just a blur were shot down asap by Clark, Chloe etc. Why wouldn't 99% of the population just assume that Kara was the red/blue blur?

Lois has written about "him" but most readers only look at headlines and half an article. The rest would think Lois just got it wrong.

I can't see how the world wouldn't be assuming Supergirl was there all along as The Blur.

The Blur's symbol has been seen all over the city since Clark started marking it last year. Kara was shown without a symbol when she was seen. Why could the Blur not be J'onn then to take your point further?

Ok episode, I think I'd grade it "average"

Laura Vanderwhatever... Man.

I may try to do a "Five Minute Smallville" in a couple of days otherwise I'll see you guys next Friday, I'll be here.

Can someone ckear this up for me. How do you pronounce Kara's name? Is it Care-Ra (as on Smallville) or is it Car-Ra (as in Supergirl). Cause I grew up with the Supergirl way, and everytime they say Care-Ra on Smallville I find myself yelling at the screen.

I don't think it's unreasonable that the public who are aware of this "blur" and then all of a sudden see this superheroine from out of nowhere might connect them. Especailly since both are seen in Metropolis. Would the public be aware of J'onn?

I don't remember how Kara departed the scene, did she fly casually away or did she zoom out?

I've always thought it was pronouced similar to Sara. "Care-ah". Kah-Ra sounds too forced and fancy.

^ Thanks guys. Looks like both is right depending on your personal tastes; although since I'm sure we've seen the last of Supergirl, I should be able to save my Smallville related screams for SuperDouche.

^ Yes, it's only a logical thought process to have. I thought the scenes that Kara was in were fine for the most part (except for the scene where Clark shows her the Book of Rao portal and fails to explain what he used it for) but really this episode darted all over the place and relied heavily on the Ollie plot.

Female Kryptonian's use their father's name as their surname. Males just have their House Name. So if Clark one day had a daughter and named her in the Kryptonian fashion she would be "Something" Kal-El. If he had a son it would be "Something"-El.

Why?
