Small things you'd've liked to've happened in TNG

In 'Measure of a Man', I'd have liked if Worf had taken Data aside and offered to help him to escape the Enterprise should his defense at his hearing fail. Worf does a similar thing for Riker in 'The Outcast', and I reckon it would've been a great moment true to the character.

I would have liked it if they revisited the aliens of the week more. Maybe catch up on the Tamarians or have Starfleet ask them for assistance (that ship was a match if not stronger than the Enterprise D).

Shit rolls downhill. It was her department that screwed up and let a kid hijack it and the ship. It would be interesting to see the official report of that incident. Bet there was a lot of spin doctoring.

I would've liked to have seen Picard speaking French, beyond certain well-known French phrases, from time-to-time. As well, I would've liked to see Picard actually spending time in France, outside of his brother's vineyard, or the Holodeck! I know it's corny, or whatever, but to see him under the Eiffel Tower would've been The Bomb! Viva La France, I say ...

I've always assumed that in the episode Family, where Picard spends time in France with with his brother, that everyone is in fact speaking French the whole time.

The audience hears the dialog in English (or whatever) but it's French.

Like when Kira is speaking to Kai Winn, they're speaking a Bajorian language, and not English.

Picard states several times he's from Le Havre, France. So short of the chaos theory that the British conquered and assimilated the French in World War 3, he should be speaking French sometimes at least.
