Small Assistance Question - Upscaling old Star Trek

I am currently in the process of using Topaz AI to upscale old episodes of Voyager - some of the results already are very impressive, but with the current pre-processing and the AI upscaling itself taking up to 15x hours alone, I am trying to get the cleanest source file to begin with.

I have the full series of Voyager on DVD (originals) but they are Region 4 for Australia. All episodes are fully interlaced meaning I have to do a fair bit of work on the files first and generally speaking lose information.

I heard from some random internet posts that the original Region 1 NTSC DVD's may have a cleaner source and not be fully interlaced, but cannot verify without getting my hands on one which seems overly difficult for some reason. I think I managed to find a full set on EBAY and assuming it is genuine can order it, but before I spent $150 and the shipping period listed of up to two months, just wanted to see if someone here had a copy of these DVD's in Region one that could verify whether they contain a cleaner source.

You don't need to send me anything, I can give a short instruction on how to check (will need to download a couple of tools). This may be a pipe dream and I am proceeding with my current DVD's for now, but if anyone has a copy of any of the DVD's in region one from US and is willing to check for me, I would be much appreciated.

As a side note, as I cannot exactly offer much, if you do have the collection on Region 1 and it is a better source AND you don't want the physical media anymore I am more than happy to purchase them direct from you instead of an EBAY seller.
