http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DptkI0EY6ZY Edit--posting it here given the buzz about the new movie, and it being his latest "effort", thought it would fit the best. Who'd a thunk it though? And Dr. Dre too?
It's good to see Eminem back however there are a lot of people who are Trek fans that are celebrities. As a completely non-political comment, though, what's more interesting is that the chick playing Sarah Palin appears to be Lisa Ann, the "actress" who plays her in the parody porn video Who's Nailin' Pailin? It's some of her best work to date and she's done a lot of good work.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of Eminem, I just thought it was interesting that he'd incorporate Trek into a music video. Surprising, actually. I mean Tom Hanks and Obama are one thing... but Dr. Dre and Eminem? Hey, if it puts more butts in seats, why not...
There are Eminem songs that I like, but this one is not one of them. The video is good for a few laughs though.
Yeah, it isn't one of his better efforts, song-wise, but the visuals amuse. Heh, Mr. Mathers seems to have the left-handed Vulcan salute down all right:
Yeah I'm surprised too, I thought there would be a little blurb of Trek but it's featured throughout the video...not that I watched the whole thing; In honor of Passover Oy Vey....the beat is wretched, there's no hook either.... but he's giving props to Trek and not making fun of it so I like that part...but there is no way this song will be a 'hit' this isn't even worthy of the "b" side....ugh.
