This is a resin kit from Stargazer Models of England:

Scratch-built manipulator arm, cargo bay lining made from aluminum foil and greeblies added to simulate a cradle for the satellite (kit came with the satellite), Pod arms scratch built (so freakin tiny!!!!) (Pod came with the kit, but had no arms!), home-made decals everywhere except the door rescue arrow. The nose art is a clipart construct of a dragon breathing nuclear fire over the USSR. I decided to go with a black/white space shuttle motif instead of the cinematic all-white.

:)

Awww. Now you made me nostalgic for the future.
Is this another one for the basement or will you display it for all to see for a while?

Very nice, it really suits the shuttle style paint job. The EVA pod was so small it took me a while to notice it at all.

Nice! I like how you have the satellite perched up there on the end of the manipulator arm, and then the pod hanging off the end of that, with no other means of support. How big is this?

OK, I am curious. Will that satellite actually fit in the bay with the doors closed? Not nitpicking or anything, just genuinely curious.

Overall length is 19"

The satellite fits if the upper "wing" section folds. The kitmaker even built that option in (but it looked stupid). But I had to invent the cradle from scratch.

BUT, i can't see any way to get the sat and the pod in there. :)
