Sliders Season 5?

I'm aware that season 5 isn't the most popular season but I've found out that it has only been released in Germany and may not be released any where else. Cause Germany is DVD region 2 like the UK I was thinking of getting it as I already have 1-4 and I've never seen the 5th one but I was wanting to get an opinion of this particular box set before I do buy it.

I hear it has an English soundtrack so will this mean that the menus and options will show in english and the only thing that I won't be able to read will be the writing on the actual box cover and insert?

The menu will most likely be in German, but should be easy to navigate nonetheless, as episode in german is "Episode/Folge".

No idea about the box set qua a box set, but as for the fifth season, I liked it. The writing wasn't as strong as in the first, fourth, or even second seasons, but it had nearly as strong a cast as the original group. Only one of the original cast may have been left, but the bunch they ended up with in the fifth season meshed really well as a group and had a good rapport. It seemed like they were having fun working together, and that made it fun to watch even when the scripts were mediocre and the limited budgets took their toll. (Besides, Tembi Locke was gorgeous.)

Would be nice if they'd let this out over here, if only so I can finish the series. Watched the rest, but this just isn't out to watch. Sure it isn't all that great, given the fairly steady downhill line the entire series took year to year, but I guess I'm a completionist, and want to finish.

I didn't really care for it, but I think it's lame to release the first four seasons and not the fifth season. They did something similar with The Adventures of Pete and Pete, the first two got released but the third season didn't (and likely never will).

It always bewilders me that anyone can say S4-5 are worse than the back half of S3. Nothing in the history of television, except maybe the Star Wars Holiday Special, is worse than the back half of season 3 of Sliders -- and the SWHS has the advantage of being only 2 hours long, so given a choice I'd rather watch it.
