SLAP'N me bozo!!!

Sometimes Star Trek writes some really silly episodes, dont we all know that! But they also create some, well, characters that just get on your nevers so much you can hardly bare to watch....they are just..well..stupid characters; usually due to bad writing OR acting or...whatever...

What star trek characters really get on your nerves and make you want to slap that bozo!!!

Rob

Jar Jar Binks!

OK. I know he isn't Star Trek. I just hate him so much I had to mention him here.

To get us back on subject, Kes. I hate her. I never liked her. I don't even know if I know why, but I do.

That chick who Data dated in that episode where Data dated some chick. I can't remember her name. But she was just an idiot. I'm sorry, but Starfleet personell must be smarter and more professional than that!

Neelix, Neelix, my god, a thousand times Neelix.

Dishonorable mention goes to pretty much anyone in the Mirror Universe ever except for MU Ezri and MU Brunt.

DS9 MU episodes (apart perhaps Crossover) make me want to slap the writers.

The Pakleds. Shut up with your "we make things go" imbecile talk. The Prophets. Cyrano Jones - I wouldn't mind him so much if he didn't say "lovely little lady" like ten times. :p The second Q in "Deja Q"...the very definition of a smug jackass - an awful, horribly conceived and acted character.

Thought our targets were limited to in-universe.
They are. I just couldn't help myself. But I realize that I could be opening a huge can of worms by mentioning slapping the writers/producers!

On the subject - one other bozo I wanted to slap was Dr Lewis Zimmerman - in his guest star stint on DS9, he was one of the most annoying Trek guest stars ever - even though his holographic version is a quite likable guy.

I never cared much for Luxana Troi..i know, I am prepared to be bombarded with pies for that one..she just never did anything for me.

Rob

Miss Troi annoyed the hell out of me as well, especially on TNG, but she had her moments. I liked her relationship with Odo and generally enjoyed her appearances on DS9 more than the TNG ones.

Even on TNG, though, she had some very funny scenes, particularly when she hit on Picard. His discomfort with her was always amusing.

Deanna Troi wins hands down. The character was a throwback to the 'weak' women of 1960s Trek. It made my eyes roll.
Many complain about the overuse of technobabble on TNG, I hated her psychobabble even more. TNG treated religious belief as being for the weak minded, but everyone had to submit to the religion of psychology on that show.

Cant argue with this one either. I HATED those outfits of hers in season one. I would have fired the bafoon who designed them...

^Agreed. I loved when Capt. Jellico asked her if her Commander rank was honorary, then ordered her to wear a proper uniform! I actually cheered out loud!:techman:

If I were Jellico I would have ordered her over my knee for a bare bottom spanking and THEN....ordered her to change her outfit...

You won't get a pie from me, she was annoying...and she was so annoying she was great. I loved her because she was the mother from hell.
