Warner Brothers Skynet Research viral site is now online and updated. It looks like CRS from Terminator 3 may have been written out of the timeline for the new film. They also have the predecessors of Skynet's future fighting force in their products section.

Welcome to Skynet Research

Boooooooo!

Sorry, just had to express my support for the third film.

I'm looking for in-jokes on the site. Nothing yet, but it reminds me of the Dharma Initiative viral marketing sites, in gaining recruits for potential employment.

Terminator 3, outside of the very end and maybe one action sequence, is a horrendous piece of shit. I hope it continues to be ignored.

Just wanted to add that in. :)

How did this imply no CRS anyway? (Admittedly I didn't read the whole site)

If they ignore CRS or not, I don't really care. While I kinda liked T3, I don't think they need to hold tight to its continuity since some of it just isn't worth holding to. When time travel is involved, this could be the original unchanged future, or a future that was changed even further from T3.

Anyways, we know the movie has things like Kate from T3 and a delayed Judgment Day. That's fair enough.

^ The company is listed as Skynet Research Incorporated. Cyber Research Systems was the company from T3.

I read on TerminatorFiles a few months ago in an interview that the date of JD was moved to 2008 from 2004 as well.

Eh, I don't see that as clear proof that they're ditching CRS or Cyberdyne. Its not meant to be any kind of official thing since we all know that Skynet was only online shortly before it killed all of humanity (although it varies from movie to movie how long this time was). I doubt this site has any real bearing on the movie continuity wise considering its nature.

I didn't like it much either. I think of it as though it could've been a good pilot for a Treminator TV show ( I thought this before they actually made a show)

I think that seeing T2 at age 17 really made that movie the cutting edge of action/sci-fi for me. It's hard to live up to. Heck, the movie still feels incredibly modern to me even though it's 18 years old this summer.
