What is it with skinny men who snicker? Is it because they can eat whatever they want while the rest of us slave away on our treadmills and weight machines while they stand around eating Snickers bars and... snicker?

Note to Misc. mods: This thread was bought to you by biggles who triple-dog-dared me in the BR.

Oh, and someone owes me a picture. :D

I couldn't agree more, I can't stand them. It's like their standing the middle of a really good party with a frown and their arms folded.

Holier-than-thou beanpoles is what they be.

I like to counter a snicker by a skinny-man with a riotous belly laugh that literally sets my rotund jelly-belly a-wobblin' and a-wibblin'.

They fear the belly.

:D

That's it exactly, we can eat whatever we want and burn off the calories on the way to the car. We snicker to feel superior, since being skinny we don't have much mass or muscle to kick people in the ass.

I used to be one of these people. I miss it. For most of my life I had a fantastic metabolsim and could practically anything I wanted, as much as I wanted, and burn it all off walking the dog, having an anxiety attack, or even just walking to the next room.

Upon starting medication for said anxiety disorder and ADHD, my metabolism was increased even further.

My parents told me over and over to change my eating habits though because I'd hit 18 and it would all change. 18 came along and nothing changed, probably because I was still being medicated on Ritalin and Buspar.

Then I went off the meds and my metabolism slowed the fuck down. And my atrocious diet caught up with me. It wasn't until this past year that I finally made the switch to as much organic and natural food as I could afford, less junk, less candy, and more protein and vitamin-rich foods. Still working on fitting exercise in to my schedule on a regular basis though, and while I'm not to the point of my girlfriend's near-obsession about how many calories she intakes with each bite, I do tend to take things more in to account these days.

Slowly but surely, I will be my awesome self again. Its not a question of if or how, only of when. In the interim, being slightly chubby has, though I hate it, made me a better person I think.

I walk a whole lot, so I CAN eat basically anything I want. I have to walk it off, but that's okay. I enjoy walking :).

Announcing that what you are doing is a dare, completely negates the fact that you did it.

You might as well not have done it at all.

I mean, let's say you decide to run naked through a football game. There's a shocker.

But, announcing you've been dared and have to run naked through a football game and then doing so ... not so much of a shocker.

/.../ ADHD,
From knowing you on this board I shouldø've known. -sorry that I missed it! (not that it ever was a point, just that I thought muself more sensible than I actually seem to have been; having a family ½ ADHD!

FRAK! -well, actually: duh!

Well, I was a skinny kid bt my genes caught p with me when I was thirtysomething!

Of course :bolian:

I hate skinny guys. The women always like the skinny guys and I get ignored. I had to learn how to play guitar just to be able to compete.

Don't get me started on skinny guys that also play guitar...
