Does the Klingon homeworld have higher gravity than earth? I'd bet not much more, as they are not so very much stronger than humans and humans appear to have no problem moving on their homeworld, eg Picard.
I think sometimes an impression is given that they are stronger by certain things that are said in episodes.* Maybe it's just bragging/hot air on the part of the Klingons to intimidate other species.
*This sounds like bragging on Worf's part, when he told Riker that human females were far too fragile to be considered mates or something to that effect.
Although novels are not considered canon. In one of the Voyager novels, Marooned, it is implied that Torres as a half Klingon is as strong as Tuvok.
Come to think of it, Torres beat the snot out of Vorik in the 3rd season episode Blood Fever.
Ah OK. I haven't seen season 4 all the way through am watching them all over again now. In an earlier season maybe season 2? , they mentioned that only a small percentage of the Vulcans can meld and fewer than that are carriers of the "disease"I think it was cured in the Season 4 Vulcan arc, when it was mentioned that the disease only came from melding incorrectly without proper training, or something.

Returning to the OP.It could be copper-based. Octopuses have copper-based blue blood.
Episode 4.13 the female dies archer gets handed a bottle of her blood which is spilled on the ground when telluride and andorian try to get at each other. It's blue.Returning to the OP.
Thing is, octopus don't have blue skin, it is shades of brown and occasionally red. Humans (most of us) don't have skin color to match our blood color. So could Andorians have iron red blood, and still have blue skin? Is it the Andorian version of melanin/pheomelanin that results in blue pigment?
I'm trying to remember if we saw an Andorian bleed during Enterprise.
