People,
For once, I'm in the minority. I voted for Far Beyond the Stars mainly because it's a more relevant allegory on prejudice and racism than almost any other ST ep. I also enjoyed the clever way they used the existing actors to play different characters in the story, esp. the scary part where the cops kept transforming back and forth from human hooligans to Dukat and Weyoun.
I also saw it as the spiritual side of Sisko, the role thrust on his shoulders when he became the Emissary of the Prophets, a role he was never that comfortable with until perhaps the end.
Having said all that, it barely edges out In the Pale Moonlight by a nose.
