The show still has its great moments, however infrequent they've become.

Just remember the Simpsonsrama crossover slogan...

The show out of ideas meets the show out of episodes.

The creators know they are out of ideas after all these years, but they don't want to ditch the show and have new people who won't do anything better.

Yeah, Barney's version of Harry Mudd made me smile. I like how Patty and Selma were the Alice-series androids.

Now that I think about it, in Simpsons lore Lisa becomes the first straight female president. So in Futurama, shouldn't her head have been readily available, to advise them how to take out the Bart mutants?
