After crunching just shy of four years of meticulous calculations and planning, TheImperar has achieved what he believes to be the most mathematically perfect city possible in Sim City 3000.

I'm not sure whether to be impressed or feel sorry for the guy. Maybe a little of both?

I haven't thought about SimCity in a while, though. Good times.

I stopped watching after two minutes. I got bored and decided this person needs to get a life.

I can't believe someone would spend almost four years on that, I couldn't even get through 1 minute of the the video. I guess everyone needs something to keep them going......

I fast-forwarded through, but I did notice his population graph near the end. Looks like a "Logan's Run"-type society since there wasn't anyone over about 55 years old!

Seems like missing the point of SimCity, to me. I try to build cities that look nice and realistic, not try to max out the simulator.

I always thought the point of SimCity was to build a city and then destroy it with a giant robot.

Ridiculous, but awesome. The video is hilariously pretentious and overblown. I like that there aren't any roads, just a mathematically perfect array of subway stations.

I enjoyed that he listed it as "20^2" subway stations. Or, ya know...400.

I suddenly fell better and more fulfilled knowing that there's someone with even less of a life than myself.
If I were to spend 2 years building a virtual city, I'd at least make it look interesting or vaguely dynamic. As it stands I've never been able to get into these types of simulation games. Even old fun ones like Theme Hospital, I always managed to run it into the ground within an hour and with Pharaoh, my cities had a habit of suddenly becoming squalid ghost towns. I mean where's the fun?

Thank you for posting that. It makes me feel better about playing expert level 'guitar' in Rock Band

The creepy music kept me watching for a few minutes as i expected the next pop up to reveal he'd killed and would kill again to be able to build his little virtual city. Sadly it was just another load of pretentious crap on how he picked the name.

At the end he says it can't be beaten, and it's right. Because everyone else is busy having friends and stuff.

When it comes to awesome SimCity achievements, I prefer this (not my work!):
