There's your answer right there - they weren't produced.

they say "Eight episodes were written for the second season before production was shut down" so you could understand that they may already did the 8 episodes & stopped there but it also may be my wishfull thinking

Seems pretty unambiguous to me. the episodes were only written before production was shut down.

Yup. Animation takes a long, long time to produce, much longer than live action. If they only had eight scripts written when they were shut down, it's most unlikely that they'd gotten to the point of actually filming any usable footage.
