I was just watching "Loud As A Whisper," and realized that it kept making me cringe, and fidget, and I don't like doing those things, so I went ahead and made a silly summary of the episode.
Now you try it for any TNG episode you like!Loud As A Whisper (TNG): A deaf Michael McDonald, along with his interpreters Peter, Paul, & Mary, attempt to negotiate a peace treaty between the remaining members of a Planet of the Apes cover band, and the last two guys in the biker gang from Beyond Thunderdome.
Shockingly, McDonald's interpreters are killed by Ray Harryhausen's ghost, and without the ability to communicate, McDonald is compelled to continue his mission, spurred on by Counselor Stating-The-Obvious, and Captain Professor X.
When all hope seems lost, Lieutenant Commander Bob Wheeler clears his mind of thetans and learns all of every kind of sign language ever in a single sitting.
Initially reluctant to use Android, and flashing a "West Side" gang sign to all his homies out of respect, Michael McDonald finally relents and finds out that Android is super easy to send messages with, omg lol wtf bbq.
After beaming down to negotiate peace with the remnants of Motorhead's old road crew, McDonald decides the only way to form a lasting peace is to teach one another how to communicate without words or weapons, and uses only sign language, all without the help of his interpreters. This idea would later inspire him to record a duet, "On My Own," with legendary singer Patti LaBelle.
Anyway, while McDonald is distracted by teaching Stryper's sole surviving relatives to read between the lines ( ||| ), as it were, Counselor Joy and Gratitude makes a beeline for the ship and they haul ass to Brian Doyle Murray's house.
