Sigh. I'm in mourning.

Happy Birthday! 30 was not so bad, I don't remember much of it though. It was a long time ago.

I made the journey the the 30's almost 2 weeks ago. I was actually kind of happy, having a "baby face," to be able to tell people I was 30.

I also look at it as: I am 30, with four kids, a wonderful wife, a good job, and a really good life. So what do I have to complain about?

I feel too darn young. Where was it I heard a few weeks ago that 26 was still considered a teenager? I thought it was crazy too, but maybe it's time to adapt with the times.

Actually, as long as you're healthy and reasonably fit...30 to 35 might probably be your best time.
Just young enough not to start getting the aches and pains that will come later on, old enough to claim some wisdom and sense of self and be taken seriously.
You're an adult at 30 though...there's no denying that, which might make some folks grieve.
But...if you ARE over 30 and act like a goof, folks think you're "young at heart" or "whimsical" or whatever instead of just being a goofball immature kid.
I dunno...30 to 35 was a great time for me.
40 is coming for me this year...that howeveri s a bit creepy.
