I gave up during the first episode.^ I gave up on SGU after five episodes. I couldn't stomach any more of it.
I gave up on it during the 2008-2009 season--thought about turning back in with this last year but I just couldn't handle another series doing a character-with-cancer storyline--they just seem so cheap and exploitative now and even moreso when you have Thirtysomething alum Patricia Wettig on there to remind you have a time when those stories were told well.Brothers and Sisters--I gave up on it a few weeks back.

Not to mention when I watched one or two episodes this year it seemed the show was all over the place.
I'm really hoping Rescue Me is better this season. The extended season last season killed it for me with Garrity's pointless musical numbers and plotlines dropped for no apparent reason. The whole season just felt like filler and I really hope it goes somewhere this season or else I'm getting ready to drop the show.
And if there's yet ANOTHER Janet/Sheila/Tommy love triangle again this season I might chuck the TV out the window.
I've also bailed on The Office.
Up until this year it was probably my favorite sitcom, but it's really gone downhill this season. I never really made a conscious decision to stop watching, but earlier this week I realized that I had three eps saved on my dvr and I had no desire to watch them. I'm think I'm done.
Yeah LOST ended when it should have--another season and I would have hated to see what it would have become. This is going to sound funny but I gave up on Lost after the finale. I stuck in there for the entire run, sure we would get some answers. I even bought the first 3 seasons on blu-ray, figuring I would go back and watch and see what I missed. Well after the travesty that was the final season, I decided to completely write off Lost.
That's a tad extreme. As a Whole the show leaves a lot to be desired but if you break down your viewing experience into seasons 1, 3-5 it is pretty solid and enjoyable on their own uin a vaccum.I gave away my blu-rays of each season to a friend. I don't venture into the Lost part of the forum. I pretty much have erased it from my mind and I wont revisit it ever.
I haven't given it a shot since it strikes me as yet another pretentious artsy show heavy on over-the-top character angst that easily impresses supposed tv critics who then go on and on and on about it. I had enough of that with nBSG, Caprica and The Sopranos.Mad Men, if it doesn't get pretty interesting pretty fast this year.

For me it's L&O: Criminal Intent. I love Jeff Goldblum and had high hopes for the new season. But the new girl is absolutely awful, and for some reason his character doesn't seem to have the same light, quirky charm and sense of humor he had last year.
