Shows that you wished you watched...

I can't speak for the rest of you but I have watched a lot of TV in my life especially in the past decade or so. However despite all the shows I have grown to love and sadly see end, their are always more shows that came n pass without me watching but wishing I did or thinking about watching in the future. Heres a few I could think off...

Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles
I am a big fan of Summer Glau and of course Terminator is one of the coolest SCI FI creations ever. I would probably like it but have never watched it for the same reason I didn't bother with it back in 2007...It was cancelled after 2 seasons, a opinion I knew was coming during the season 1 slide in the ratings, so I ignored it. I wish the show would of gone on longer to complete its story because am sure I would of been a fan.

The O.C
This is a strange one because part of me considers it to be a bland show but I've caught a few episodes on TV and it has a quirky guilty pleasure humor too it. Now this one did get an ending after 4 seasons and 90+ episodes so maybe one day I will watch it.

Chuck
This is still on the air and its looks wonderful but I have always kept my distance because every season it looks like it will be cancelled. If Chuck recieves a proper ending then I will watch it and I hope it does.

Six Feet Under
Cable is were the best TV is written no DOUBT and I hear so many things about this show. I am also a fan of Michael C Hall because of Dexter but I have just never gotten around to watching the show.

The A-Team
I've caught some episodes and I love em but I have never watched the show properly despite loving it since I was a kid. One day I really must watch it all but I can't remember if the show got an ending or not?

So what shows do you wished you had watched or want to watch some time in the future?

The OC usually gets trashed more than it deserves. Think people made their minds up on it without ever seeing it, for the most part. I mean, had it's bad moments, but was generally a fun, heartfelt show, and the main characters at least were really good (Seth, Summer, Ryan, and the Cohens)

Chuck
This is still on the air and its looks wonderful but I have always kept my distance because every season it looks like it will be cancelled. If Chuck recieves a proper ending then I will watch it and I hope it does.

You're missing out big time.. Chuck is awesome entertainment and perfect for its key demographic. The looming threat of cancellation each season has led to good, self contained stories each season. Kind of like Whedon structured his shows that wrapped up the storyline in the season finale so even if Chuck got cancelled after the current season there won't be much unresolved save perhaps for the foundations for next season.

Personally i regret never having taken up Supernatural.. all my friends are gushing about the show but for whatever reason i've barely made it past episode 2 or 3 in the first season. It is a show that might interest me.. humor, the supernatural, cool things to happen etc but i just can't get started.

There are none. I tend to go from hearing about something I'd like, to having watched it quite quickly. Right now there's nothing I want that I don't already have.

At the moment I am watching Smallville (midway through season 5). Its deffo a hit/miss show but for the most part I like the characters especially Michael Rosenbaum as Lex. The mythology stuff is pretty good and worth getting through the Enemies of the week stories to get too.

The shows I have on my list after Smallville...

Jekyll
Law & Order UK
The A Team
Fraiser
Six Feet Under
Burn Notice
Hustle (UK show)
The Company (mini series)
Chuck
The Big C
Treme
The OC
Weeds

I've just started watching The Daily Show & The Colbert Report and wish I started them years ago.

I haven't really had TV in a long time so there are quite a few shows that I have watched a little or have passed me by that I want to get into:

Buffy
New Doctor Who
Babylon 5
Last two season of Heroes(yes even though I know what everybody says about them)
Sarah Connor Chronicles
Last two seasons of Enterprise
Firefly

For some reason back in the day I always wished I had started watching Xena too, but I am not really interested in seeing it now.

I kind of wish that I had started with SANCTUARY from the beginning since it sounds kind of interesting. And there are plenty of British shows (TORCHWOOD, BEING HUMAN, etcetera) that I've never seen just because we don't get BBC America in our cable package.

I keep meaning to check them out on DVD . . . .

I quite often get into tv shows long after they've ended. The West Wing finished a year and a half before I started watching. And I think it was about four years after the end that I watched Arrested Development. The day they showed The O.C finale over here in the UK, I was channel surfing and switched it on half way through. Even though I'd never watched any of it, and had never had any desire to watch it, I left it on. The next day, the same channel started showing it from the beginning and I got totally hooked and watched it all the way through.

At the moment, I don't think there's any shows I wish I'd watched, but I do wish I'd gotten into sci-fi sooner. I resisted it until about a year and a half ago and love it. Am slowly working my way through several sci-fi shows (Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, V, Farscape, Firefly, and a couple of others I can't remember right now) but I'm getting there :)

I've always wanted to watch Without a Trace from the beginning. I'm waiting for it to restart reruns on a channel. I also plan on watching Medium all the way through when it (supposedly) comes to Netflix next month.

I generally watch anything I'm interested in. Kings was one I missed. My dvr was flooded and I heard they were canceling it so I just deleted it.

There was a tv show called (I think) John Doe-it was an ABC show, IIRC, and I would have liked to have seen it.

I'm gonna say the jury is still out on Freaks n Geeks-it's on my "to buy" list, so I haven't given up on it yet.

Most things I really wanted to see, I managed to get to, one way or another. However, due to time constraints, there are a few I never got around to. One such show is the "Sharpe's" Series.

I only saw Sharpe's Rifles and Sharpe's Eagle. There's 14 more installments to get through, but I just never got around to it; plus, it's been so long, I'd have to go back to the beginning to follow it.

The Amazing? Spiderman. Don't remember the title

Its a cartoon set in a parallel Earth where Wundergore took over America.
Saw one episode on demand 2 weeks ago. Fascinating. He had little pseudo-wings stitched under his arms and he tended to leap around more than swing.

Lost. I saw the first part of the first episode and then got distracted. I tried picking it up later in the season but figured I'd missed too much already.

Chuck is terrible this year, they really need to put it out of its misery.

I have a big list of shows on HBO that I missed first time round because I don't subscribe. That's what Netflix is for.

There's nothing especially famous that I want to watch, except for Babylon 5 and maybe Battlestar Galactica. I've really been craving some plotlines that continue from episode to episode, like in TNG and DS9. I got a little bit of that when I purchased the first season of Earth: Final Conflict, but I can't find the following seasons in stores and I'm not especially inclined to buying things online for risk of damaged discs. :(

Six Feet Under
Cable is were the best TV is written no DOUBT and I hear so many things about this show. I am also a fan of Michael C Hall because of Dexter but I have just never gotten around to watching the show.

Get this one on DVD, via Netflix or otherwise. It's worth putting off other shows to watch. One of the best series in history.
