I see your point, but let's just table that part of the discussion for now while we check things out.Just saying but... Raindog, the OP, just joined on the 28th, when he started this thread, and he has only made one post, this thread. Almost as if he joined only to ask his question. Now that by itself isn't too skeptical, I mean if I wanted to find out about that, where would I go but to where a bunch of trekkies are... But, CBDoohan also had just joined when he started posting in this thread on December 2nd... He's only made 4 posts, the ones in THIS thread... Now, what are the chances that the person selling the items in question by the OP would be on THIS forum, and find THIS thread about his product when he wasn't a even member of this website in the first place? What are the chances of that? It seems to me like this is all just some publicity stunt to attract more customers...
I mean: Someone asks about the item, asks if they look authentic, drawing attention to them and causing people to have to really LOOK at the item to make their decision. If those people think it does, maybe they might buy one, get more customers. But most of the people weren't too sure about it, seemed pretty skeptical... So Chris Doohan himself pops up to assure everyone they are indeed authentic, to keep too many people who might have bought one from changing their minds... Perhaps the seller would have popped up anyways to bolster everyones opinion of the item's authenticity regardless of their initial thoughts on it.
Now, if the seller and Mr CBDoohan are indeed Chris Doohan is another story completely, it might be, it might not be, who knows. (Though I do find it amusing that the user name is CBDoohan, almost as if to show off that it's Chris) But either way, I think we've all just been had by someone trying to sell something... Just saying... that's how it looks to me...
Shhh, Misfit Toy said not to talk about it.As to publicity - Chris and his eBay store are well known and on a site visible to millions.
It's fine - as Search4 said - everything's on the up-and-up. Just don't replace the Dilithium with Folger's Crystals and we'll be okay.Shhh, Misfit Toy said not to talk about it.As to publicity - Chris and his eBay store are well known and on a site visible to millions.![]()

And frankly, I think you'd have to be nuts to pay even $20 for a chunk of rock.
Let me know how that goes, will ya? If you survive, that is. I'd recommend taking a phaser... set to kill, stun is for wimps.I'm considering buying them, then taking them to bad neighborhoods and sell as crack. Anybody think I'd get killed? Just asking
