Shouldn't they have used Riker like a Mule?

Seriously the amount of idiot dupes unwittingly taking other peoples illegal drugs through customs very minute is boggling... Granted Q was going to wipe the monkey's memory before returning the Enterprises First Officer back to the AQ, but surely Voyagers intrepid crewmen could have used him mischievously somehow to get word back home, even something as basic as slipping an SOS into Riker's Sock while Q was Arguing with himself?

If Q was willing to be outsmarted that is, and lets face it, what was the big secret that Q wasn't willing to pass on word that Janeway was safe as houses that he felt the need to perpetuate the Gilliganesianisiticness of Kathy's daily route?

Didn't stop them from doing the same thing with that Romulan scientist in "Eye of the Needle".

Course, they didn't KNOW he was from the past until later.

Well, there ya go. They didn't know the Romulan was from the past, but with Riker, Janeway, with her commbadge fetish, could tell immediately that he'd be no good as a message mule.

They still followed through with the Romulan Express after they noticed the lag.

Older uniforms are worn in the core system.

Note how Sisko switched back to a TNG style Uniform in Paradise Lost and Home Front when he went back to Earth.

I suppose it's harder to express uniformity when there's billions of people in Uniform in one local that if they for once achieve some significant uniformity that they don't want to frakk with it.

I thought it was hilarious in generations that they had to use every uniform ever sewn to doll up all the extras in the movie, and that Geordie switched "era" half way through the movie.

Janeway just did NOT want to think about Riker's ass. It was so repulsive to her that her brain didn't even register that the doctor could stick something up there as a message in a buttle.

Yeah, I know, but his commbadge stayed the same.

In 'Death Wish', Riker still had the one with the oval back, not the new one introduced in ST: Generations.

So in one of Jeri's novel it claims that she and Riker dated a little?

Why the pretence of a lack of familiarity then?

This episode was made before the novel, I believe.

Continuity doesn't care when new events are retroactively added to the timeline, only that everything still makes absolutely perfect continuous sense, no matter what kitchen sink is added to the timeline years or decades after the fact.

In a perfect world Janeway would have given a speech about how Archer founded the Federation... And considering how long it took them to preproduce Enterprise, they could have and should have.

Oh and Star Wars... "Belch".

I looked at the script earlier in the afternoon, and when Janeway introduces herself to Picard's monkey, Riker acknowledges the lost lady by saying "From Voyager?" (Or something very close to that)

So Riker's from at least when the ship was lost.

(Maybe he was at a costume party or he was role playing with Dee?)

Can we have a dating on the dating? Because it might have been Tom Riker playing silly buggers like he did with Kira. Which is unlikely as Second chances was season 6 TNG... Which is a 5 year window less however long she was shacked up with Mark.
