Should Voyager never gotten home?

I would have liked the following...

They can see earth on the other side of a wormhole, however they detect another "anomaly" by the wormhole and Janeway orders them to investigate it first - it then sucks then even further away.

The last shot is of Janeway being fired into the sun by angry crewmembers.

Something twisted like that - it would be funny.

I just like the idea of a Star Trek series ending with a completely WTF ending.

Failing that, it would have been neat if they had all dead - not in a "you guys suck" but saving the universe moment that reminds the viewer how dangerous space actually is - I know most fans would hate it but the SCE book Wildfire had a quite effective take on that type of story.

We'll leave that the to dark and gritty (and juvenile ;)) new BSG movie. Its right into their alley. :p Victory to the Cylon!
