Should they make DSC more like Sliders for S4?

At the risk of having to pay a tithe to the coin jar, that's basically The Orville.

I don't have a problem with The Orville, other than Seth MacFarlane's humor not being my style. I wasn't interested enough to come back for the second season but that's not the same as being opposed to it.

My only serious issue is with the "STD sucks, Orville rules!" millitants who've tried to force a rivalry from Day One because of "reasons" and "true Star Trek!" Whatever that means.

I kind of had the idea ages ago for a ST series with a Sliders-like premise. I don't much care for the DSC case, but hey.
