Dang man... Thats bright.
I say offer a long sleeve alternative for the girls, since not every girl won't have sculpted arms, and some of the girls who don't have that might be somewhat insecure about flashing not so toned arms....though I have no clue on what the health and fitness of the average 23rd century person is like.
They already have a long sleeve version

Keep what was presented but add something that clearly shows what rank someone is. As many times as I've seen the movie, I can't honestly say I remember anybody's rank showing up at the wrists like in TOS. Maybe because people were moving up and down in rank so muchI loved the vibrant, somewhat retroey colors instead of the muted tones in the first set of movies.
They weren't as prominently gold-braidy as on the original TV show uniforms, but the rank stripes were there. A few examples:Keep what was presented but add something that clearly shows what rank someone is. I'm not sure about overalls, but I think there there were a few people in the crowd scenes wearing what looked like lab coats or workshop-type smocks. The guy at the right in this screencap is wearing something similar to what we used to see on background crewmen or technicians.I agree. Very neat, yet very retro. Instantly recognizable but distinctly modern.I think the STXI uniforms were great. No changes needed.
I would like to see more variation, like a kind of overall for technicians (like the one they wore in TOS)...
There were ranks on the sleeves, though not all of them for some reason...
I actually thought they were a fusion (of sorts) of the original simplified rank stripes from the original TOS pilot episode and the more familiar ones seen later in the series. From a distance, most of the ranks look like the single stripes from the pilot, but closer up they're like the classic series. They weren't as prominently gold-braidy as on the original TV show uniforms, but the rank stripes were there.Keep what was presented but add something that clearly shows what rank someone is. Throw in some pants for the ladies too, as an option.
