Should it be called something else, New Age Trek?

Funny conversation I overhead at the theater this past weekend. Some guys behind me, they said that it should be called something else because this is some kind of New Age Star Trek, heh.

They wanted to call it Star Wars, but there was some kind of problem with Lucasfilm. Always complaining, that bunch - first it was the whole "Vengeance Of Khan" thing, and now this...

With the reboot and new universe, I wouldn't be surprised if Star Trek assumes a new moniker. Until Abrams, we've had Star Trek U1. Now we're in the era of Star Trek U2.

Since it's a movie and not a TV series like TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY or ENT.

It's called "Star Trek" or like for the first ten films, "ST:XI"

There isn't any line of demarcation, no matter how important that is to many...
