Emony met Bones, and Guinan was old enough to live in that time. Should they be cast as minor roles?

Yeah let's shoehorn everyone in. But not Porthos, that would be ridiculous!

I wouldn't mind emony but only if it serves the story.
Say, if there was to be scene where Bones gets lucky, then having it be with a Trill gymnast named Emony wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

I want Sarkozy in the movie 
McCoy was banging Emony when he was in college at Ole Miss so I doubt she will be in the film. I think Dax had already changed hosts by then anyway.
What purpose could these two characters serve in the film?

I'll say it before and I'll say it again - I don't want this film to touch ANYTHING DS9-related. Too much risk of them messing it up. So no Dax host of ANY kind.

I want no NuTrek in this film, even NuTrek I like (DS9). I don't want old Spock because he is firmly in the NuTrek continuity. Ideally, I'd like a film hermetically sealed away from all canon editions post 1969--nothing that contradicts NuTrek or even MovieTrek, just nothing indicative of it, either.

Guinan, not so much.
Emony? She was McCoy's girlfriend at one point, but it was years before this film will take place anyway. So she won't even be the Dax host anymore.
AFAIK, the current Dax host in TOS' time was Audrid, and she wouldn't have any reason to be in the film.
