Where did you see this?Victorian setting. Doctor in a suit smoking (!) and acting in a nasty manner, abusing poor people.
Looks like that Doctor Scrooge rumour might be true.

Sorry if its been mentioned but according to Blogtor Who, in an interview Matt has said that filming starts on July 12th.
Filming on Christmas Special starts on July 12. It's the "most Christmassy special there'll ever be" with an equally special cast list.
The Sarah Jane episodes are airing in between now and the Christmas special. No, the Sarah Jane story doesn't have to go in between "The Big Bang" and Christmas, but the casual audience would likely expect it to be so.So I guess that means no Orient Express? Too bad, I really liked the sound of that one.
Also, I believe that the whole Orient Express bit wasn't actually scripted. The Doctor was just supposed to nod and say "Yes" a lot, until they realized on set that it just wasn't dramatic.
Gallifrey Base.Erm, what's your source for that? Also, I believe that the whole Orient Express bit wasn't actually scripted. The Doctor was just supposed to nod and say "Yes" a lot, until they realized on set that it just wasn't dramatic.

Here's reference to that on Digital Spy, though that person may have picked it up from the same place.
Ah, here's the original GB post. I'd actually quote it, but that's against GB rules. I don't know who Timeboy is, but his track record with season five spoilers was dead-on, so I'm giving it credence.
The prevailing rumor about the Christmas special is that it's a riff on "A Christmas Carol."
At the moment, sure. So, in other words, it's an Internet rumor.
Glad they're not doing the Orient Express story to be honest. It gives fans a chance to use their imaginations a bit.
