Ship your avatars away!

A newly CGI'd Dalek saucer from The Dalek Invasion of Earth cuts loose with it's main weapon

Oh that looks neat. I've only seen the old version of this serial and cringed at the Dalek ships because they kind of looked like those thingys you put on drains to prevent clogging.

Haven't really had time to make new avatars. I'll reuse this one from an earlier contest.

^ I ripped that one myself last night then lightened the ship a bit so it would stand out a little more. Originally I tried Googling for some images, but most of what came up were pix of the toy version. :D

Niiice! It's a beauty of a shot, especially glossed up like that. I couldn't find any inspiration, so I just went with a standard shot.

Mind if I ask you a question about DVD ripping software? I'll send you a PM, so as not to derail the thread... :techman:

Fan-tas-tic! I like how you've managed to take a moving picture and capture the exact essence of the moment, with the fleet beginning to swarm over the planet. Good stuff! :techman:

^A Judoon platoon upon the moon! :D I love those tall, cylindrical ships. They remind me, especially given the Judoons' personalities, of the Vogon ships from the Hitchhiker's Guide movie.

Thanks. I had wanted the space station in the pic, too, but the detail was lost at that level. It took a fair amount of tinkering just to get those smaller saucers to be visible, if remember correctly.

Yup, there's still time.

Last call for entries. I'll be putting up the poll in a few hours.
