ship VS ship #2

Well, the first battle was turning into a blow out....so, NCC-1701 beats old oldBSG (wasnt really a fair fight considering the site's name TREKBBS)....But being the fan of TOS/BSG as I am, I will bring the Galactica back again for a new battle..soon..one where it has a chance!!!

So, on to SHIP vs SHIP #2...

In one corner we have the legendary millenium falcon Yes, Han Solo's proud and joy. Sure, half the time the lightspeed doesn't work, but who cares? We're talking about looks, even rugged ones....

In the other corner we have that other scifi ship that is captained by a rule-breaking scoundral..and the ship he captains called Serenity, a firefly-class space ship. It, too, has well known maintenance issues, but in a tight spot, this baby goes....


Okay folks...which ship, not base on performance, but by looks, do you prefer????

I'll take the Falcon, Firefly looked like a heap of junk, The falcon looked awesome.

Serenity. She looked graceful in certain ways, and had lots of cool features. The Falcon pretty much looked like a robot puked on a half-eaten hamburger.

I voted Falcon; I think she has a certain grace despite the industrial look that was a big part of pioneering the "lived-in universe" business.

It was difficult, because I like both ships, a lot, but I went with the Falcon. I think its 'barfed up hamburger' looks (great visual who ever thought that up) goes well with the ship and it's far from Prime-rib looks....

Even though much like everyone in Star Wars, the Falcon couldn't hit the broad side of the barn... it at least had weapons and defensive systems. All I remember of Serenity is that moved and looked like the pregnant yak of a cargo ship it was.

Not much of a contest.

Weapons can not be considered..I KNOW its hard to seperate them, but thats what I am looking for here...I guess performance, agility ect, can be considered, like when you buy a car....but weaponry and turrets and all that must be ignored...it was hard for me too...but it can be done...
