So turns out Shinzon was right, when our Picard lived a life of war he turned out like Shinzon. Surely he deserves atleast a mention somewhere because of this?

You're taking Shinzon's statement out of context.

SHINZON: If you had lived my life and experienced the suffering of my people, you'd be standing where I am.

Shinzon wasn't talking about if Picard lived a life of war. He was talking about living the life of a slave and then getting a chance to defeat his oppressors. This is not even close to the life experience of General Picard. He was not a slave, nor was he oppressed. He was born into a fascist totalitarian society where it was the norm to be xenophobic and conquer alien races because he was taught from day one that the only good galaxy was a human galaxy.

And as @F. King Daniel pointed out, Picard's life experience could also have made him turn out to be a lowly lieutenant who was completely insignificant. So unless Lieutenant Picard from "Tapestry" also had a secret desire to kill all aliens, Shinzon's statement still has no context to what we see in the alternate universe of the Confederacy of Earth.
