Was not sure if to post here or in the startgate forum.

Former members of the Stargate production team are prepping a brand new science fiction series for Syfy Channel. Variety reports that Damian Kindler, Martin Wood, and Amanda Tapping are adding Sherwood to their production roster.
The new series will reimagine the popular story of Robin Hood … only set in the 23rd century. In Sherwood, “a young man of privilege teams up with a misfit spaceship crew to right the wrongs of his family,” according to the press release.

To be honest not sure if I will tune in, I have been a bit disappointed how sanctuary turned out after syfy picked it up. I am just fed up with how a lot of syfy shows I have seen seem to be cookie cut shows.

I was just going to post a thread about all of skiffy's ideas in development. Those brief descriptions aren't too much to go on, but why not start the peanut gallery early?

Yes, the creative people behind the shows are probably a better predictor of success than one-paragraph descriptions. So far, RDM and gang have proven that they can rise above the expected and come up with something exciting, but that seems to be a rare quality indeed.
