"Shattered" Line-by-Line

Hello, Welcome!

We recently completed our "I, Mudd" Line-by-Line in the TOS forum!

After each completed thread, we're randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was Hoshi3! And Hoshi3has chosen "Shattered" as our next Line-by-Line challenge!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Our "rule" is that if the episode has a "To Be Continued..." on the end, it is done in a single thread, but if it's just an arc of related episodes, each episode is a separate thread.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread, I or CoveTom, BlueStuff, Enterprise1981 or even he, who has been touched by the drama bug, the one and the only LeadHead () or bloody well somebody on Team "Line-by-Line" will run the randomizer to determine who will pick the next episode and get it going.

So, so hurt, that I'm not longer listed as a member of Team Line-by-Line leandar. (Many completely fake tears ensue)

Icheb: Excellent. You recognized the complimentary base-pair.

Naomi: Actually, I just found two pieces that fit together.

ICHEB: You're missing the point.

NAOMI: I thought the point was to finish the puzzle.

ICHEB: And learn something about genetics.

 

[LeadHead]

Naomi: If you really want to help, find me a green piece that looks like Tuvoks ear.

ICHEB: Commander.

 

[Hoshi3]

CHAKOTAY: At ease. I'm just passing through.

 

[LeadHead]

Icheb: I apologize for the condition of the cargo bay, Commander. I've been tutoring Naomi.

CHAKOTAY: Looks like you found a creative approach.

 

[Hoshi3]

ICHEB: Thank you, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell Seven. I'm supposed to be writing a paper on transwarp instability.

 

[Enterprise1981]

CHAKOTAY: Don't worry, your secret's safe, as long as you keep mine.

ICHEB: Sir?

 

[Enterprise1981]

CHAKOTAY: (referring to the bottle) Antarian cider, not the replicated stuff. There are only a couple of bottles left and I don't want Mister Neelix getting his hands on them.

 

[LeadHead]

Icheb: Then you should store them with the salvaged Borg components. Neelix never inventories those containers. He says they give him the creeps.

 

[Athena28]

CHAKOTAY: Officer level thinking, Icheb. Would you mind?

 

[Hoshi3]

ICHEB: Of course not.
