Shatner visits the turn-of-the-century...

I think it's funny how "turn of the century" still means 1900 instead of 2000.

Good times!

"Turn of the Century" can stay in 1900. Millennium sounds much cooler, futuristic, 21st century.

It's still WAY too soon to consider thinking of 2000 as turn of the century, seeing as most people on the planet were probably alive at that point. I suspect it'll take a few generations before people start applying that to 2000, unless they do as Zaminhon suggests, and leave 2000 as Turn of the Millennium or something to that effect.

I always refer to 2000 as "turn of the century," mainly because it so alarms my geezer friends. ;)

Not gonna lie, that just looks like the Shat with a funky mustache.
Couldn't give the dude a wig of some kind?

Better? ;)

I love Star Trek. I love Captain Kirk. I love Bill Shatner.

But this - dare I say it? - is terrible casting.

I actually like to say "way back in the 20th century," like they used to do on the Star Trek.

Will he change places with the real Mark Twain and end up on the Enterprise E and will Picard tell him how he died, therefore creating a predestination temporal paradox?
