One of my college friends writes for a Vancouver newspaper. He had the opportunity to interview Shatner for an upcoming appearance in Vancouver. He said the Shatman was very friendly and had a lot of energy. Here's a link to his interview.

Good post. I was recently lucky enough to meet Shatner. I've heard from alot of people that he's particularly rough or rude with star trek fans. Either he's done a full 180, or those rumors were exaggerated because from what I saw and experienced he was very kind and professional with me and other fans in attendance. And VERY full of life for a man I his 80s.
