Shatner's gonna be in the movie as old Kirk. It's all a publicity stunt that's getting a little out of hand, but getting the movie a lot of publicity.

Either way if shatner was in the movie or not. I'm still happy they are making another movie...and hopefully it will be better than some of the earlier movies. Trek needs a new well written, directed, and acted movie, and hopefully JJ is up to the task! (great job on alias).
