Shater, Mancow and the leadership of Starfleet

This will make no sense to most of you, but Eric "Mancow" Muller is a radio host in Chicago, has appeared on Fox & Friends and used to be a 'big thing.' The Shat's on his show a lot and it really seems like they have a true friendship (at least according to their on-air conversations).

So I'm reading Captain's Glory this morning and the leader of Starfleet is Admiral Eric Muller. Made me smile. Maybe there's something to the friendship afterall.

Shatner invited Muller to act as captain of one of the three teams playing in this gigantic paintball tournament several years ago, which was chronicled on a DVD called William Shatner's Spplat Attack (yes, the two "p"s are intentional). Shatner lead the Starfleet team, while Muller headed up the "Klingons" and paintball guru Tom Kaye led "the Borg." Muller's a huge geek/Trek fan and by all accounts, he and Shatner have been friends for years.
