Keyboard: Original to the machine

Oooh, I love those ancient keyboards -This the kind that goes "KLICK" every time you press a key?
I love 'em too. I took one home from work when we dismantled the (very) old servers, many many years ago and I do like to use it from time to time, just for the great "klack klack klack" sound. It makes you feel like you're actually creating something as you type. :D

Mechanical keyboards are far superior to cheap membrane boards in every regard except for noise levels.

Yes! the new keyboards the put on the macs and the laptops just dont feel right.

Unrelated: if you really like that creating something sensation, find yourself a 70's electric typewriter, fun sounds! :D

I do kind of miss my old typewriter sometimes. I wonder if anybody has invented a utility that allows a computer keyboard to imitate that sound? If they haven't, they should.... :D

I have 2 old school IBM M model keyboards. The true "clicky keyboard" over 20 years old. I don't use them because I don't want to ruin them. But yes, clicky keyboards really do rock!

The are horrible! I loved them; until my fingers hurt from all the typing. Then again; I do a lot more typing then ordinary people do. Give me a curved keyboard with notebook style buttons; my fingers still thank me to this very day.

Using my trusty iBook G4 with the ancient 10.3.9 OS and still love this thing to death. I haven't had a single issue with it other than I can't play my old PC games on it.
