Shakespearean Ravings

Drek Jacobi's Hamlet for the BBC (1980) is, IMHO, the definitive screen version. The man was brilliant.
Kevin Kline's was... not. :)

An aside that has nothing but a tenuous connection to the thread. I saw Hamlet at the Shakespeare theatre. During the duel between Hamlet and Laertes I thought "I wonder if they ever lose control of their swords." About two seconds later Hamlet's sword went flying into the audience. A quick-thinking audience member stood up and caught it, but it could have been disastrous.
