We've booked our 2nd guest for the Official STARGATE SG-1/ATLANTIS CONVENTION in Vancouver on April 2-5, 2009. Joining already announced Amanda Tapping is Connor Trinneer (one of our favorite Star Trek Convention guests, Connor plays Michael in Stargate Atlantis). We've also put on sale the Sunday Behind The Scenes Tours. Info on Vancouver is available at http://www.creationent.com/cal/sgvan.htm

Is this March or April?

Edit - Looks like it is April according to the site.

Mu$t $tart $aving!

I got my ticket already cause group of SG fans hang out with we pick city to invade and vancouver was next years so I am excited getting photo op when I come home from Chicago.
I just got back from Vegas. I can't possibly start spending money again!! I'll just have to take my chances.

Thats a place would have loved to have visited was vegas and understand waiting; luckily lots of tickets available; but to Stargate fans; vancouver is kinda our vegas cause you get set visits and sight seeing trips for locations used in and around vancouver.

I wonder how the cancellation of SGA will affect the crowd attending this event. I also wonder how it will affect the planned tours of the lot and workshops?

With movies that go straight to dvd going and guessing who knows maybe since the Michael character still around maybe they will have him in the movie :)

I wondered about that. That has been a big difference between SG1 and SGA. Anyone notice that SG1 used a villian a lot for a season or two but was much quicker to kill off the bad guys. SGA hangs onto them but only uses a villian once or twice a season.
