This show isn't at all comparable to DS9. While DS9 was of course quite different from TNG, the important point was that it was actually good.

That's your opinion which you have a right to. Here's what isn't an opinion: Trek fans were just as dismissive of DS9 (if not more) as Stargate fans are of SGU. I was there during those times and though the internet had not yet exploded, what was out there (outside of PsiPhi, Tim Lynch reviews and a blog by female Bashir fans) was not pretty for DS9. You also read complaints in the newspaper articles which featured Trek fans nd the attitudes of most Trek fans at Trek conventions were distinctly anti-DS9. And what makes it interesting is that many of the same complaints leveled at SGU, were the same ones directed towards DS9 during the mid 90s. To suggest otherwise is pure revisionism.

4/5 I liked Eli trying to convince his mom it was him and really liked their moment on the Destiny together. Loved Rush's excuse for where he's been hiding all this time and why the ship is acting erratically. Blame Chloe! LOL. I am interested to see where Rush goes with using Chloe to aid him in his work.

This episode needed more Greer. More Greer is always a good thing. I hope he kicks that guy's ass.

Also, maybe the medic and the LA guy will hook up? I wouldn't mind them being a couple.
