Chloe's increasingly erratic behavior raises concerns for the rest of the crew, leading to the discovery that she may be under alien control. Eli returns home when he learns that his mother has fallen ill.

I kind of get bored with these kind of episodes, but we’ll see what happens. Eli returns home, heh, well not really, darn stones.

Yeah, but those stones are like the ultimate in communications, though I can't help but wonder what kind of roaming charges Destiny's crew is racking up!

Hope to be here for commentary, it depends on how much I get done in the next hour.

Good point, which doesn't bode well for the character. Truthfully, she's just one step above useless, in terms of what she contributes.

We'll see.

I really don't like the idea that the amount a character contributes (as in being useful) should measure how important they are to a show.

That said, they do need to work on making her a more interesting character. Right now some of the side characters are more interesting than she is.

They had this thing they tried to start where she was interested or capable in the field of archealogy. Sadly, that seems to have been dropped since we only saw it once. I was thinking this would have been good development for her character, turn her into a pseudo Dr. Jackson. She could even (gasp) use the stones to visit Dr. Jackson on Earth and get some mentoring so she could learn and use the knowledge to investigate worlds in this part of the universe. It would be a win win for us too, cause we'd get to see real interaction with the real Jackson. That would be an excellent development for her IMO rather than turning into a hybrid alien lol

It seems I could do a better job writing these characters lol

Chloe was her father's assistant on the aspect of the Stargate program, so it stands to reason that she had to have SOME kind of scientific or historical knowledge that could be put to use.

I'm not 100% live, tv downstairs, running up here on commercials.

Kind of a ho hum intro, just cut off abruptly, its like i'm watching a documentary or something

Did they improve the lighting in the mess hall? That scene was a hell of a lot brighter than the norm for SGU.

Nice to see Alison Down's character again, considering that she was a relatively minor character on SG-1.

OK, I sure hope this ep picks up a bit. We're four eps into 20, and there hasn't been a lot of change since the premier.

They need to bring back Telford and the Spitting Aliens.
