Wait a minute, the episode takes place in an actual Canadian town? Then how the hell do we explain Scott living there, and serving in the US military?

^ According to Wikipedia, there are also several towns in the U.S. called Cloverdale: California, New Mexico, Oregon, Idaho, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, West Virginia, and Virginia. There are also some neighborhoods in larger cities in the U.S. called Cloverdale, though I wouldn't count those since it appeared to be its own incorporated town. Have there been any details on what part of the country Scott is supposed to be from? From his blandness, I'd guess one of the Midwest states (I'm allowed to say that since I'm unfortunately from Indiana :p).

It was filmed in the town, the story is of course, set in America.
Well, it was 'set' in what's his booger's plant dream, so really it could've been a town anywhere... it didn't need to make sense. They could've been in a french villiage eating baguettes and wearing goofy little berets.

I really liked this episode and think it is one of the best of season 2 so far. It had action facing off against strange plant creatures on a strange planet. I loved Greer and the marines having some flame thrower fun and killing one with the kawoosh. I loved Eli's line, "You should see Greer's face; He's taking no prisoners." I love Greer!

I also liked the symbolism with Chloe and Scott lying next to each other with their hands together and then again at the end of the episode. Speaking of the end of the episode, NO MUSIC OR MONTAGE?! Strange for SGU. It will be interesting to see how Scott having alien blood as well as Chloe plays out.

I thought the hallucinations were OK but I would have preferred if they reduced them or not had them at all and instead focused more on fighting the plant monsters. They could have shown us them exploring the planet and the encounter with the plants in reality instead of through the movie in the hallucination.

All in all a great episode.

Since it's resolved in the first few minutes of the very next episode, I don't think it's much of a spoiler to say absolutely nothing comes of this. The fact that the issue was handwaved away makes this episode even more useless.
