By the first commercial break and there is already an error. According to material released prior to today, the Destiny was launched millions of years ago, not hundreds of thousands.

That was obviously just his first guess, not like he has had time to dissect the database and figure out dates yet, just his first guess. I'm thinking we will learn more about it as the show progresses.

I hope they all wear the same clothing for the first season because they have no supplies.

Why bother spending 2 hours of your time watching something if you're going to make fun of it every scene? If you think it's going to like BSG and you didn't like that show, don't watch.

Otherwise, enjoy.

I like the BSG'ness feel of the show so far, I'm really digging this

BSG and Lost are awesome. I'm all for making Stargate not so goofy.

Well the problem with this, as far as this episode goes, is that the writers are so unused to this new style that the dramatic moments seem very manufactured, like the yelling match that just happened between Lt. Hotpants and the Senator.

I watch so many bad movies I don't even notice stuff like that. I think the acting is fine.
