As to the whole issue of whether or not this is the real Carson Beckett, I again advance my theory that our beloved Scot was abducted at some point on a mission and replaced with one of the non-hostile Replicators.

This is who we saw blown up last season.

Michael, at some point, found the real Carson and has forced him to work on whatever evil project Michael has going.

Or, it could be the other way around. The real Carson could be dead and this is a Replicator, but would a Replicator be as valuable to Michael as the real Beckett?

Either way, it's good to see Paul McG again.

Unfortunately, Abrams has cast some bloke named Simon Pegg as Scotty. Paul has a minor role, which hasn't been revealed yet.

It's too bad, McG would've been perfect.
