Presumably, she never would find out. She'd write a nice report, Woolsey would keep his job, she'd keep her job, the moron she though replaced her would keep his job, and as far as she ever knew, nothing was amiss. And it's not exactly the sort of thing you bring up again later. "I'm still mad at you for being an indian giver on that bribe you offered me."

The thing that annoyed me was the scene in the infirmary with Dr. Kaylee.

I'm sorry, but I refuse to believe the doctor is so dense that she didn't notice that all of Woolsey's comments to "Vanessa" were *not* addressed to her -- just based on line of sight. He was clearly looking over her shoulder when talking to Vanessa, or to her side. Only someone *blind* would think she was being spoken to.

It's like that other thing that annoys me in TV -- someone's cell phone rings, and FIVE PEOPLE check their cell phone. Hello? If a phone is ringing, I can tell the direction, and I'd know whether it was mine or not without having to look.

Grrrr.

Excellent episode. This season keeps going up and down. A bit slow to start with but got better. The editing was very nicely done. In fact I've noticed that it's been consistently good these last couple of years, and tends to enhance the episodes a lot.

OMG I've just noticed this was written by Mallozi and Mullie... impossible. They must have ripped off the concept from somewhere.

Good but fairly predictable.

I thought the gene was only part of the control system for the jumper, dont you have to use your mind and the gene at the same time?

^Yes, but we shouldn't consider anything that happened in Sheppard's mind to be completely accurate.

I think someone else pointed out that if it had been McKay, they would have given him a broken Puddle Jumper and just let him spend hours fixing it to keep him out of the way. They just created a situation that the intended target would believe.
