SFdebris trek reviews.

I disagreed with some of his comments re DW's "End of Time" and the fact that it relied upon a lot of continuity with previous episodes.

As the final viewing fiigure can be anywhere from 6m-11m (an is usually around the uppper part of that i.e. 7-8m) so it would appear that the bulk of the audiance is familiar with the backstory).

I will admit that might not be the case for the US broadcasts but that is irrelevant as it is made firstly for a British audiance.

As a fan of ENT (yes, we do exist) I can't watch his ENT reviews. IMHO, he's way too harsh and unforgiving with them. I freely admit that the show has it's fair share of problems, and yes they're opinionated reviews, but he really lets his own opinions on the show ruin those.

He may be harsh on Enterpise, but he's not above giving credit where credit due. Examples being Regeneration, Observer Effect and In a Mirror Darkly. The bulk of season 2 is considered terrible by Trekkies and despite his constant criticism of Archer he freely admits Archer grows in character in 3 and 4.

this is a good point. Most of his reviews of ENT are of the first two seasons, which let's face it, were mostly pretty weak. If he gets into reviewing more of season 3 and season 4, he'll likely rate it more favorably.

He's pretty harsh on early TNG too, again because early TNG just isn't that great.
